DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- The Darlington County Sheriff's Office has identified a man accused of shooting two family members before fleeing in a stolen car last week.
Mark Rowe Jr. was charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and grand larceny. He was apprehended Thursday and booked into the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center, where he awaits his bond hearing.
Deputies responded at about 1:30 p.m. to Anderson Drive for a shooting. The sheriff’s office said Rowe fled prior to law enforcement’s arrival but was apprehended at about 3:15 p.m. with the assistance of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrest warrants show Rowe allegedly shot the two with a 9 mm handgun on Thursday inside a residence on Anderson Drive. T
