CLOVER, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A large internet and phone outage has hit the Clover Schools District (CSD) on the first day of school.
School officials said an AT&T service disruption has taken down phones and internet access at all Clover schools and buildings, except the district office. CSD said this means parents can’t call the schools or the Transportation Department at this time.
On Monday, students across the district returned to class for their first day of the 2025-2026 school year. Concerned parents turned to social media for answers.
“This is why, in case of emergency, our students should be allowed to have phones,” one posted. Another added, “I hope this resolves quickly for all. Thanks for the heads up.”
