The Warren County Sheriff’s Office seeks information on the whereabouts of a driver who fled from authorities after a vehicle pursuit on Monday.
The Sheriff’s Office states in a news release that it received a notification at approximately 4:40 a.m. that the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office agents were pursuing a red pickup traveling north on Zachary Taylor Highway at a high rate of speed.
After seeing the suspect vehicle not stopping for Rappahannock County deputies, Warren County officers continued the pursuit as the pickup traveled into the Chester Gap area, the release states. Within three minutes, officers deployed tire-deflation devices and the suspect vehicle continued into Front Royal. The suspect vehicle stopped in the 800 block of North Commerce Avenue, the release states.
