VENTNOR — Visitors toured six Absecon Island luxury homes Monday during the 36th annual Jewish Family Service House Tour.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore, an initiative run by the nonprofit that provides adults over 50 with services including transportation, care coordination, kosher meal deliveries and intergenerational events.

The event raised more than $110,000 this year, said Susan Kotzen, a JFS spokesperson.

Among the homes on the tour was that of Michele Kramer Sloane, the daughter of the late Lynn Kramer, after whom the assisted living initiative is named.

Sloane, who chaired this year's event, said her home on Avolyn Avenue once belonged to her parents, Lynn and Charles Kramer.
