For days, folks and businesses in Granbury have been asked to dial back on water use due to a water main break.
“So, the people that are on city utility has got this notice that they were doing some restrictions because of a main break, a water main break,” Janice Thompson said.

Thompson said she spends hours tending to her garden; however, she has been abiding by the restrictions.
According to the city, water ponding began on July 25. The leak, however, did not surface until July 27, the city said.

“I did what the city asked me to do, and not water them. I don't have a sprinkling system,” Thompson said. “They were asking us not to
