GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two men are facing multiple charges in connection with a deadly shooting in Greensboro that happened in April on East Bessemer Avenue that left one man dead and a woman injured.

The Greensboro Police Department announced Monday that arrest warrants have been issued for 28-year-old Tariq Mosley and 26-year-old Michael Garrison. Both men are charged with first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and discharging a barreled weapon into an occupied vehicle.

On April 27, officers responded to a reported shooting on East Bessemer Avenue around 2:49 a.m.

Police found 39-year-old Marsalis Davon Murphy in a parking lot with gunshot wounds. Life-saving efforts were initiated, and he was taken to a hospital, but he later died from his injuries.
