NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KOLN) — A woman detained after the ICE raid at a food processing plant in Omaha is fighting for her release from jail after posting bond.

A 20-page petition lays out multiple alleged Fifth Amendment violations against 52-year-old Floribertha Mayo Anicasio in the weeks after her arrest. A bond was eventually set for the woman, and she posted it. Despite that, she remains in custody in Lincoln County.

According to the petition, Mayo Anicasio fled Mexico in 1999 with her children and relocated to the United States. She later moved to Nebraska and eventually began working at Glenn Valley Foods in Omaha.
