STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. -- Update 6 p.m, August 4 - The Arden fire has increased to 58 acres with containment at 20%, according to Northeast Washington Fire Information.

No evacuations or closures are in effect at this time.

Update 2:15 p.m., August 3 - Fire crews continue to gain control over a growing wildfire burning near Arden on Sunday afternoon, according to Department of Natural Resources.

As of Sunday morning, the wildfire burning on Castle Rock Mountain, about 2-miles east of Arden, has grown from 32-acres to 56-acres, or .08 square miles.

Containment has also grown from 0% on Saturday to about 20% on Sunday.

DNR said Sunday's crews are focused on increasing containment, securing fire lines and clearing hazardous trees.
