A gym in Swindon has confirmed when it will close its doors in a message to customers.

The email, sent out to Simply Gym members in Swindon on Monday, August 4, confirmed that the gym will temporarily close on Sunday, August 17.

The closure is due to major electrical work, and will see classes cancelled or postponed.

A full power outage is expected during the closure hours - between 4am and 8am - and the gym which is usually open 24 hours a day will be completely closed.

"The main gym will open and resume normal operations from 8am onwards
