This acquisition will see Joby Aviation take control of Blade's passenger helicopter division along with the Blade brand name. The medical division will operate as a public company and is being rebranded, while partnering with Joby for medical transportation.

It's most famous for its helicopter operations, operating routes such as Manhattan to New York JFK Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport .
