LIHUE — Hale Opio is celebrating 50 years of achievements and accomplishments, and the first-ever End of Summer Bash and Resource Fair held on Saturday was just one of those celebrations.

“It’s good to have a day just for fun,” said Lady Ipo, one of the entertainment lineup who got help from Keikilani, the vocalist during the recent Kauai Community College Commencement, and Kamaha‘o- Haumea-Thronas, who was home for the summer from Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama campus. “This is the last day of summer, and school supplies are a priority, but we can have fun.”
