JACKSON COUNTY, MI — It’s Election Day, Jackson.
Polls opened for the Tuesday, Aug. 5 primary election at 7 a.m. and will remain open until 8 p.m. The ballot will only have one item for residents living in Ward 3 in Jackson.
Ward 3 voters will decide which two candidates will advance to the November general election for a 5-year seat on Jackson City Council. Three candidates are running. They include an incumbent, Angelita V. Gunn, a newcomer, Caleb Blondke, and a City Council veteran, Jeromy Alexander.
