JACKSON, MI – Police are asking for assistance in locating a man who has been charged with murder in the death of a girl who was fatally shot outside her church.

Antonio Treyvonne Green is wanted for murder in the shooting death of Mia Sims , according to a joint announcement from the Jackson Police Department and Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office.

Green, 19, is charged with one count of second-degree murder, discharging a firearm in or at a building causing death and using a firearm to commit a felony.

The Jackson County Prosecutor’s office and the Jackson City Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating Green.

Green’s mugshot has been posted on the Jackson Police Department’s Facebook page .
