DANVILLE — The Danville Fire Department responded to a structure fire of a two-story commercial structure type building located in the 200 block of Logan Avenue at 10:13 p.m. on Aug. 1. The building was not in normal use and is owned by the City of Danville.

Engine 1 was first on scene and reported heavy fire on the second floor with visible flames coming from four windows. Because of the volume of the fire and the size of the structure, second alarm was immediately requested.
