Tropical Storm Dexter, the fourth named storm of the 2025 hurricane season, was a bit weaker Tuesday morning as forecasters continue to track it and two other disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center.

None of the systems pose an immediate threat to Louisiana.

As of 4 a.m. Tuesday, Dexter was located about 345 miles north of Bermuda in the Atlantic Ocean and forecasters said it is still expected to move away from the United States.

By early Tuesday morning, Dexter had maximum sustained winds of 40 mph and was moving east-northeast at 12 mph.
