WILLIAMSBURG — The City of Williamsburg announced residential and guest parking hangtags and decals will move to a digital system starting Monday, Aug. 18.

According to the city, residents are typically able to purchase permits starting Aug. 1 each year, however, due to the ongoing transition to the new system, 2025-26 permits will not be sold until the new system launches on Aug. 18. Existing permits are valid through Aug. 31.

On Aug. 18, those who live in parking permit zones will purchase residential permits and manage guest passes through the new online system.
