EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — As the new school year kicks off, Evansville Police are reminding parents, teachers, and students the importance of online safety.
Authorities say children are becoming more exposed to online relationships.
EPD says predators oftentimes use social media, games, and messaging apps to target and exploit minors.
Parents are encouraged to teach their kids about open communication, set digital guidelines, and stay involved in their child's online presence.
