JACKSON COUNTY, MI – It is day three of the 2025 Jackson County Fair. Here are some activities to check out on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

Gates are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, 128 W. Ganson St. Today, the entrance fee is $5 for adults and children, according to the fair’s website.

Today’s theme is Tropical Tuesday in honor of the Jimmy Buffett tribute band playing this evening. People are encouraged to dress up in tropical attire, while participating in some of these activities.

Hula hoop and limbo contest

The Jackson County Fair will host a hula hoop contest at 1:45 p.m. and a limbo contest at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

These events are free to enter, Assistant Parks and Fair Director Emily Thomas said. The winner of these contests will win a ride wristband.
