The Brooklyn Children’s Museum is turning up the island vibes on Saturday, Aug. 9, with Celebrate the Caribbean , a vibrant day-long festival spotlighting the sights, sounds and flavors of the Caribbean.
Running from 11:00am to 5:00pm, the annual event explores the rich cultures of the Caribbean diaspora through live music, hands-on workshops, dance, food and more. Expect everything from steel pan beats to stilt walkers towering above the crowd.
