GEORGETOWN – Sussex County is getting to know a new economic director after Bill Pfaff retired at the end of July, leaving his one-person office open for the next generation to step in and make a difference in the growing county.

Pfaff took the Lewes resident under his wing when Harton came on board as the economic development manager in February, preparing him for the moment the Sussex County Council would approve his promotion as the new economic director on the morning of Tuesday, July 29 – just days before Pfaff’s last day.
