After last year’s presidential schedule changes , the 2025 Video Music Awards are returning to a weekend-night broadcast, live from UBS Arena on Long Island this September. Lady Gaga leads the pack with 12 nominations , including for the Artist of the Year, where she’s up against Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift, and the Weeknd. New this year is the Best Pop Artist category, which has Justin Bieber competing against six pop girlies (or five, depending on how Lorde is feeling about her gender today).
