North Jersey was shaken up again on the afternoon of Aug. 5 when a 2.7 magnitude earthquake hit Bergen County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The epicenter was in Hillsdale , according to the government agency, and the quake occurred at 12:11 p.m.

Just days prior on Aug. 2, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 hit Bergen County.
