POLO, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas man has been charged after he allegedly transported a missing child across state lines and sexually exploited them.
Caldwell County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, July 30, indicate that Philip J. Taylor, 37, of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, has been charged with the sexual exploitation of a minor.
A probable cause statement filed by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office revealed that around noon on July 18, a 17-year-old called 911 to report they were a missing foster child from Kansas.
Investigators noted that the caller reported they had been in Taylor’s company before he abandoned them at Hideaway Lake. They were found at the campground and taken back to the Sheriff’s Office.
