Boston is the latest stop in the partisan battle over a controversial mid-decade redistricting effort in Texas.

With the National Conference of State Legislatures holding its annual summit in Boston, Texas Senate Democrats and lawmakers from other states plan a news conference Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. on the Massachusetts State House steps.

According to a media advisory, participating lawmakers plan to "speak out against the ongoing attempts to rig congressional maps in a mid-decade redistricting and attacks on voting rights in state legislatures and courts."
