As COVID-19 eviction moratoriums were lifted across the Bay Area a few years ago, evictions skyrocketed, data from various counties showed at the time .

A new, interactive tool combines that data in one place, revealing where evictions were most concentrated and who was most impacted throughout the region.

The tool is one piece of an eviction study published last week by the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority, a regional government agency. BAHFA commissioned the study to get a better sense of the eviction landscape in the Bay Area and to help local policymakers protect tenants.
