One of the best things about Oakland in the fall, besides the fact that it delivers the best weather of the year (shhhh, don’t tell the tourists), is the plethora of events that fill up the calendar. West Oakland gets a lot of love in the fall with the Life is Living festival, and the Oakland Black Cowboy Parade and Festival. There’s also unique Halloween events like Driveway Follies, and the Piedmont Avenue Pumpkin Patch. And, this year, one special fall event is the 60th anniversary of the Oakland Ballet.
Get out your planners, and mark these events down so you don’t miss out on all of the fall fun.
