EAGAN, Minn. — Minnesota Vikings receiver Jordan Addison will miss the first three games of the regular season after the NFL handed down its punishment Tuesday following his DUI arrest last year in Los Angeles.
The league announced the suspension on Tuesday, saying the 23-year-old pass-catcher violated the NFL's Substances of Abuse Policy. An NFL spokesperson added that he can still participate in all preseason activities, including training camp and preseason games.
This incident was Addison's second high-profile run-in with the law. In July 2023, he was pulled over after being clocked driving his Maserati 140 mph down Interstate 94 in St. Paul. Addison told reporters he was transporting his dog to the vet after a medical emergency. He later pleaded guilty to a petty misdemeanor charge
