NEWFANE — A new mobile classroom at Vermont EMS Academy is providing life-like learning onsite and around the state.

Funding for Vermont's first mobile emergency medical services training classroom came from The EMS Fund and Thompson Trust, according to an announcement. The 2024 trailer manufactured by Recreations by Design, MO, was delivered to Rescue Inc.'s VEMSA in December then underwent "extensive customization" before being unveiled during Rescue's annual open house on Sunday.

"I just am really proud to see the growth that has gone through and the introduction of the mobile classroom, the expansion that can happen across the entire state," said Marc B. Schauber, founder and president of The EMS Fund.
