FARMLAND, Ind. — A Farmland man was charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor, according to court documents.

Bryan Fortriede was charged with the following: • Two counts of Sexual Misconduct with Minor, a Level 4 Felony • Two counts of Child Seduction, a Level 5 Felony

Investigators with the Randolph County Prosecutor's Office were contacted by the Department of Child Services on July 16 on a report of a possible sex offense.

Authorities learned that the alleged attack happened at 200 block of Angling Road on New Year's Eve 2024.

Police contacted Fortriede on July 9, 2025, but he refused to speak with officials. Fortriede was later charged with sexual misconduct and child seduction, following an investigation.
