A week of political sparring in Boston's mayoral race has given way to campaign finance questions.
Josh Kraft is facing criticism over a series of fundraising emails which appear be from high-profile Democrats like Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, Sen. Adam Schiff of California and former North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper. But the sender clearly shows up as "Josh for Boston" with donated funds apparently split between the candidates.

"Now it's become a scandal, and that's not what any campaign really wants," said Northeastern University Professor Costas Panagopoulos.
In the case of Schiff, his campaign says in a statement, "immediately after being informed that the Kraft campaign sent an email we did not approve of
