A man was shot multiple times and killed Sunday on Dudley Street in Roxbury, police said.

The man was shot shortly before midnight, police said. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police did not release the man’s name.

A witness showed police a video of two men dressed in black and wearing white sneakers fleeing toward nearby Adams Street shortly after the shooting, according to radio transmissions posted on Broadcastify.

No arrests have been made.

“If/when this is ruled a homicide it will be the 22nd of the year,” said Sergeant Detective John Boyle, of the Boston Police Department. “This time last year, we were at 10.”
