Now they might not get a chance to see him at all this year. Howard left Tuesday’s practice with a hand injury. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, he fractured a small bone in his right hand, which could cause him to miss at least three weeks. If that timeline is accurate, Howard would miss the entirety of the three-game preseason. Rapoport added that the sixth-round pick will undergo further tests and that surgery won’t be required.
