Spirit Airlines pilot Dominic Cipolla was arrested at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) on stalking charges from police in Kansas, the airline removed him from duty following the arrest. He was released on bail of $12,500 USD while awaiting his court date of August 12, 2025.

Cipolla, 40, was apparently pursuing two victims that remain anonymous but public police information indicates that their ages were 12 and 17 years old. He was arrested as a fugitive on June 17, before boarding as another pilot took over to operate the regularly scheduled flight.
