LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Football finished practice number 8 on Tuesday. Following the workouts, the media heard from defensive coordinator John Butler, secondary coach Addison Williams, and a few defensive players.
One of the talking points during the interviews was about the Huskers defensive line. The Blackshirts D-line room lost players in the offseason that accounted for 20 sacks last season.
“The focus is on us and right now, we try and live in the present not the past, you know, our goal is to better than we did last year,” Senior defensive lineman, Elijah Jeudy, said.
The defensive line saw Ty Robinson and Nash Hutmacher go to the NFL. Plus, they lost James Williams, Princewill Umanmielen, Kai Wallin, and Jimari Butler to the transfer portal.
