Atlanta Falcons vs Detroit Lions - The Falcons will begin the 2025 preseason by taking on the Detroit Lions on August 8. Detroit kicked off the preseason, falling to the Los Angeles Chargers 34-7 in Canton at the Hall of Fame game.

The Falcons are coming off a 2024 season that saw them finish 8-9 on the year. Former Washington Huskie Michael Penix is set to mark 2025 as the full-time starter under center.
