INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WEVV) — Vice President J.D. Vance is scheduled to visit Indianapolis on Thursday.

He plans to discuss the redrawing of Indiana's congressional map with GOP leaders.

The move is part of a broader Republican effort to gain more seats nationwide.

Vance is expected to meet with state leaders, including Indiana Gov. Mike Braun.

Braun shared some of his thoughts on the matter.

While no commitments have been made, Braun did not rule out the possibility of calling a special session to redraw Indiana's congressional districts.
