AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - This week’s New in Amarillo highlights two new businesses, Shipley Do-Nuts and Ziggi’s Coffee , which offers sweet treats, fun drinks and all-day-breakfast options.

Shipley Do-Nuts has opened its first location in the Panhandle here in Amarillo.

Shipley Do-Nuts offers its infamous sweets which began in the 30s as a small business in the Houston area.

The donut shop offers many different donut flavors, kolaches and even coffee options.

Manager Hector Gonzalez, says their food is never frozen and made fresh daily.

“Everything is baked daily, and that’s another characteristic of us. You know for example, some other brands could have frozen products shipped from way longer distances,” said Gonzalez. “Not us, we have all our ingredients shipped
