CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The chance to see someone else arrives for the first time this preseason for the Cleveland Browns . They'll face the Carolina Panthers in a joint practice Aug. 6.

The practice, conducted at the Panthers' practice facility located in the shadow of their downtown Charlotte stadium, will begin at 10 a.m. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski is expected to speak to the media at 9:30 a.m., while the players will talk after the practice.

The biggest storyline , besides the obvious one about the Browns quarterback, is the weather , with rain in the forecast for much of the day. Carolina does not have an indoor facility or bubble, with a fieldhouse in the process of being built, but won't be ready until 2027.
