CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A Carolina Panthers star was involved in a car crash near Uptown Charlotte on Wednesday, the .
Cornerback Jaycee Horn -- who is fresh off signing a four-year, $100 million -- was alone in his car when the wreck happened at the corner of streets, which is right outside Bank of America Stadium.
The Panthers said neither Horn nor anyone else was hurt in the Aug. 6 crash.
The team said Horn was evaluated by team medical staff and would not participate in Wednesday’s joint practice with the Cleveland Browns. The Panthers and Browns will face off in their first preseason game on Friday night in Charlotte.
Despite not practicing, Horn was still present at the Wednesday’s practice, according to The Athletic’s .
