ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - One of two teens was arrested in connection with a Northwest shooting that injured two others, according to City of Roanoke Police Department.

A Roanoke teen was arrested on Monday, August 4 and was charged with:

Shooting into an occupied dwelling

Possession of a firearm by a juvenile

On Saturday, August 2, around 3:00 p.m., RPD officers responded to a report of a victim who was shot in the 1300 block of Crescent St. NW. The officers arrived and saw a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound; he was taken to a local hospital with an injury that’s not life-threatening, said investigators.

A second call occurred before 3:15 p.m. of another shooting victim at the 2700 block of Kirkland Dr. NW. Investigators said the other teenager was taken to a hospital and is expected to
