GRAND COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A family of five, including three children, were killed Monday morning when a wrong-way driver slammed into their SUV.

The horrific crash happened in Grand County on Highway 9, just south of Kremmling.

According to Colorado State Patrol, a Ford F-150 was traveling north on the highway when the driver abruptly veered into the southbound lanes and collided with an oncoming SUV. The impact caused both vehicles to explode into flames. No one in the SUV survived.

“The loss of an entire family is an unspeakable tragedy, and our hearts are with all who are grieving during this incredibly difficult time,” the Grand County Coroner’s Office said.

The victims were identified Wednesday as:

Manuel Cabral-Torres, 34

Andrea Banuelos-Salazar, 30

Maria Cabral-Banuelos, 1
