DUTTON – On-scene investigations have concluded but officials say they still haven’t discovered the cause of a blaze that tore through a car dealership in the heart of this Southwestern Ontario town.
A spokesperson for the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) told The Free Press that the probe continues into the July 30 fire that destroyed the Cotrac Ford Lincoln dealership in Dutton, located about 50 kilometres southwest of London, but the exact cause has not yet been determined.
“The scene-portion of the investigation is now complete and the investigation is now in its next phase,” said Sean Driscoll, a spokesperson for the OFM. “At this time, no determination for the cause has been made.”
