GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A man was sentenced to life in prison on multiple charges, including rape of a child and sodomy.

Brian W. Readenour, 48, previously pleaded guilty to the charges. He was sentenced to life in prison by a Graves County circuit judge.

According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, Readenour had prior convictions for the sexual abuse of children.

In the fall of 2023, Readenour went on the run from authorities. Deputies say he was hiding in the Murphy’s Pond area of Hickman County and areas of northwest Tennessee.

After detectives received a tip, he was eventually caught by the Union City, Tenn. Police Department and was extradited back to Graves County.
