WASHINGTON — Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) will host its inaugural Walk for Suicide Loss & Awareness on Saturday, September 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on the hospital campus at East Walnut Street.
The walk aims to honor individuals who have been lost to suicide, provide support to survivors, and raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
For a $25 registration fee, participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. The proceeds from these registrations will support the DCH Foundation’s mental health programs. The deadline to register and guarantee a t-shirt is September 12.
