PETTIS COUNTY, Mo - There were mixed results for proposed tax levies during last night's election.

Voters in the Knob Noster R-8 School District narrowly approved Proposition KNP by a vote of 411-397. The increase will fund add several key features of the new Knob Noster High School campus. These include agriculture, manufacturing, and building trades supplemental facilities, as well as athletic facility improvements.

Meanwhile, voters in Pettis County swiftly struck down a proposed tax levy increase for the Pettis County Fire Protection District. Voters rejected the measure by a margin of 663-255.
