LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A pedestrian was killed in an overnight crash in Lexington.
The Lexington Police Department tells WKYT that they were called around 10:45 Tuesday night to Liberty Road at Burkewood Drive after a car hit a pedestrian.
The pedestrian ended up dying from his injuries. That person’s name has not yet been released.
The road was closed for several hours overnight, but has since reopened.
Police say the driver of the car, 35-year-old Bryce Daniel, has been charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
The crash is still under investigation.
