CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A Carolina Panthers star player had to have stitches after he was on the edge of Uptown Charlotte on Wednesday morning.
Panthers head coach Dave Canales said the player, Jaycee Horn, had “a few” stitches put in his left thumb area after the crash.
The Panthers said the wreck happened at the corner of Mint and Morehead streets, right outside Bank of America Stadium. Neither the team nor Canales said what happened in the crash, but the team that nobody was hospitalized.
“He’s day-to-day right now ... we’re just going to kind of evaluate,” Canales said during Wednesday’s . “It doesn’t seem like anything else happened, but we’re just going to evaluate him each day. He’ll still be able to do some activities.”
