Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with the Columbia Richland Fire Department say two people were taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a Midlands Publix.

A department spokesperson says it happened at Publix on Two Notch Rd. at 11:20am.

The car’s driver and a pedestrian at the store were hurt.

No word on what caused the crash.
