Artist Steve Penley recently honored the last five Georgia football coaches with a painting of the group, four of which still call Athens-area their hometown.

The art features former coaches Jim Donnan, Ray Goff and Vince Dooley—who passed away in Athens in 2022—embracing on the left side of the painting, while current coach Kirby Smart has his arm around former coach Mark Richt on the right side. The University of Georgia and the arch were at the top of the photo.

Smart and Richt were also photographed with Penley signing other Georgia football paintings done by the artist.
