The City of Red Deer and 10 other central Alberta municipalities that make up the Central Alberta Economic Resilience Taskforce (CAERT) are hoping for feedback from the communities they serve.

CAERT is seeking input from local businesses so they can better understand current economic conditions in the region.

"CAERT aims to encourage import replacement in favour of domestically produced goods and diversification of trading partners, advocate for economically favourable conditions and trade agreements, and collect data to inform strategies that enhance regional economic resilience," the city of Red Deer said in a media release.
